    Our Guides are more than drivers, they’re thoughtful, service-minded individuals who offer door-to-door, concierge-style support with patience and kindness. Together, we’re not just providing rides, we’re making healthcare more accessible and adding a personal touch to every step of the way.

  • The safety and well-being of our riders always come first. Every Guide is thoughtfully trained and certified, not just in First Aid/CPR, Defensive Driving, and Passenger Safety, but also in healthcare compliance, so they’re fully prepared to support each rider with care, confidence, and compassion. It’s more than a ride; it’s peace of mind with every mile.

  • At SendaRide, every mile matters, because so does every rider. Our Guides go above and beyond to provide safe, reliable, and on-time transportation to medical appointments. With a friendly call before arrival, we offer reassurance and build a personal connection that brings comfort and peace of mind. From meeting riders at their door to assisting with belongings and getting them safely to the vehicle, we’re there every step of the way. By supporting access to essential healthcare, we help individuals and communities live healthier, fuller lives.

  • Most of our ride opportunities take place Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., with additional jobs available on weekends. When a ride is offered to you, you’ll see all the important details upfront—pickup and drop-off locations, the date and time, the rider’s age and gender, and your potential earnings.

    You’re in control: accept on-demand rides right away or schedule them for later in the day or week, whatever works best for you. It’s flexible, transparent, and designed to fit your life while making a real difference in someone else’s.

  • Pay is per ride; weekly earnings typically average $25–$45/hr, with weekly payouts for all trips completed the previous week. The more rides you take, the more you earn. Your dedication is rewarded with growing payouts and meaningful impact. It's not just a job; it’s a chance to make a difference while building a flexible, rewarding income.

How it Works

Complete an Application

Tell us a bit about yourself and how you’d like to make an impact. Our application only takes a few minutes to complete, and once you hit submit, our recruiting team will be in touch!

Complete Your Profile & Certifications

From home, complete your driver profile, background check, and required NEMT certifications like First Aid, Defensive Driving, and Passenger Assistance. SendaRide covers all certification costs to set you up for success.

New Driver Orientation

Once your profile is complete, you’ll be invited to orientation—our final step before activation. Learn about our mission, impact, and tips for success as you begin driving with purpose.

Complete Rides

View and accept trips 1–14 days in advance with full ride details and estimated earnings—so you can schedule around your life and meet your goals.

Driver Requirements

  • Vehicle Requirements

    Mileage: Fewer than 300,000 miles.

    Age: Model year within the last 10 years.

    Type: Four-door sedan, van, or SUV (trucks are not permitted).

    Ground Clearance: 8 inches or lower.

    Condition: Excellent condition with no visible interior or exterior damage.

    Your vehicle is more than transportation, it’s part of the care experience.


  • Background Check

    All Guides must successfully complete a comprehensive background check. 

    Includes local and national criminal history, Social Security verification, and exclusion checks.

    Texas Residents: Must pass a Texas Department of Public Safety check that reviews beyond a 7-year history.

    Motor Vehicle Record Check: We require a clean driving record for the past 7 years.

  • Drug Screen

    All Guides are required to complete a 10+ panel drug test as part of the onboarding process.

    Any positive result is disqualifying, including marijuana, regardless of its legal status or prescribed use in your state.

    A clean drug screen is essential to ensure the safety and trust of every rider we serve.

  • Licensing & Insurance

    To ensure every rider receives a safe, reliable, and comfortable experience, all SendaRide Guides must provide the following documentation:

    A valid driver’s license

    Current vehicle registration

    Active auto insurance that meets or exceeds your state’s minimum liability requirements.

    These documents are essential to maintaining the high standards of care and trust our riders count on.
